One of the priorities of the 2014 Westlake Parks Master Plan completed by Brandstetter Carroll Inc. was the replacement of the Clague Park Pool with a state-of-the-art outdoor aquatics facility to serve the community. The facility includes a zero-entry activity pool, a six-lane lap pool with a diving well, a lazy river, two existing water slides, a splash pad area, and a pool house. To accommodate the existing site, the pool and deck areas are at slightly different levels, which defines the spaces while allowing the sight lines needed for a pool facility of this size. Unique features include simulated waterfalls from one body of water to the next and a climbing wall at the diving well.
