As part of the 2005 Master Plan for Dayton Parks, Brandstetter Carroll Inc. recommended the use of spraygrounds as an economical way by which aquatic experiences could be brought to the citizens. The Fairview Sprayground was constructed adjacent to the existing Fairview Pool and a new dry playground. The sprayground has no perimeter fence. It uses a recently completed pool house for associated functions.
